SBI PO 2016 Prelims Admit Cards to be released on 14 June

The State Bank of India (SBI) will release the admit card for the SBI PO 2016 prelims examination on 14 June. Candidates, who have applied for the post can download their admit card from the official web portal of the Bank.
SBI had invited candidates to register online for the Recruitment Process of 2200 posts of Probationary Officers. The vacancy was announced by the Bank via advertisement no. CRPD/PO/2016-17/02. Applications were invited till 24 May 2016, however due to heavy traffic on the payment gateway; the Bank had extended the last date for submission of application fees till 30 May 2016.
Candidates who have availed SC/ST/Religious Minority Community quota can download the Call Letters for Pre-Exam Training from 13 June 2016 onwards. The pre-exam training will be held from 20 June 2016 till 25 June 2016. The pre-exam training for the  SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates will be held in the following centres: Agartala, Agra, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Akola, Allahabad, Asansol, Aurangabad, Bareilly, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur (Ganjam), Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Dibrugarh, Ernakulam, Gangtok, Gorakhpur, Gulbarga, Guwahati, Hubli, Hyderabad, Imphal, Indore, Itanagar, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Meerut, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Purnea, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Silchar, Siliguri, Shillong, Srinagar, Tirupati, Vadodara, Varanasi, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada.
Graduate pass candidates who have already registered for the exam can find details about the SBI PO Preliminary Exam 2016. Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 sections. The questions will be asked from the topics related to English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 20 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in Objective Test and Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in GD & Interview (Phase-III) for the final selection. The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately.
